We’re stoked that Amy grew up playing fast-paced sports like lacrosse, field hockey, and ice hockey. It’s her aptitude for multi-tasking and her knack for shifting on the fly that gives her the ability to seamlessly handle the demands of our quirky office.
As the Vice President of Operations, she manages the team that oversees two fundamental organizational functions that allow employees to thrive in an empowering and sustainable workplace: human resources and finance and operational systems.
Read that as “hiring and retaining awesome and talented individuals who can thrive in our unique environment” and “ensuring insight into the efficiency of the company.”
A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, with a B.A in English/Journalism and an MBA, Mad*Pow’s blog has proved to be a great outlet for Amy’s well-crafted writing skills. Prior to Mad*Pow, Amy managed operations at a grassroots marketing firm in Maine, where she learned how to manage client expectations and deliver innovative brand campaigns.
When she’s not crunching numbers and keeping us up-to-date in the latest local news, Amy spends her time on the family sailboat, following college hockey, and riding horses.
