We were looking for an experienced writer, and our marketing department certainly found one. Karl has been a newspaper editor, wire service writer and editor, PR department stalwart in agencies and the corporate world. Oh yeah, and then there’s that entry from the Washington Redskins on his resume. Though not a player in the professional sports sense, he certainly was a contributor during his time with the NFL organization.
He describes himself as “curious, a fast learner, and surprising," and we've found that to be pretty accurate.
As a writer, Karl's goal is to make the complex simple and if he could accomplish anything in his craft it would be to rid the world of 50-cent words. His approach: Relax and let the unconscious mind solve the dilemma.
He attended college in Germany and at the University of Wyoming, joining The Associated Press while still in school. He parlayed his experience there into time at Mullen and Arnold advertising. There’s a lot more after that, and still more to come!
