Without a doubt, Kristin’s love of art, creativity and business is genetic. Growing up, Kristin was surrounded by actors, artists, dancers and musicians. Her enthusiasm and passion for connecting creative people with new business opportunities is why she is a great addition to Mad*Pow as a Business Development Director.
Prior to joining Mad*Pow, Kristin was the Director of Business Development at Raka, where she expanded the company’s client list and increased average project scope and the number of industries represented.
Before her three-year stint at Raka, Kristin worked for over a decade representing bi-coastal talent and literary agencies. As the co-head of the New York office of Writers & Artists Agency (now part of Paradigm), Kristin managed six talent agents and support staff. She created a bi-coastal market intelligence program, developed and honed agency pitches, and negotiated with film, theatre and television executives on behalf of the agency’s clients (which included: Rashida Jones, Drea DeMatteo, William H. Macy and James Gandolfini).
Kristin received her degree in Communication Studies from Northwestern University with a concentration in French. She attended La Sorbonne, Paris III and IV, for her Junior Year abroad studying Art History and French Journalism. Kristin is one of the founding members of the Seacoast Women’s Giving Circle and is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Music Hall.
Kristin enjoys spending time with her husband and son, running along the New Hampshire Seacoast, exploring the depths of the ocean or shredding the bunny slopes in the mountains of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
